Last week, we introduced the giveaway for Pittsburgh’s 2019-2020 Children’s Theater season. Hop over and enter — you can win tickets to any show of your choice!

Today, we’re giving away tickets specifically for the premier show: Walk Two Moons. It’s recommended for families with kids ages 7+, and looks like it’s going to be incredibly moving.

Walk Two Moons

While driving cross-country with her grandparents in search of her mother, 13-year-old Sal meets many eccentric characters. None more so than Phoebe – Sal’s best friend and the main character in the stories she tells to entertain her grandparents. Phoebe’s story bursts with wild conspiracy theories of her own missing mother, which helps Sal confront her own loss. But with a deadline looming, Sal might not make it in time to reunite with the one person she wants to find most. Follow National Players on their journey in this moving adaptation of the award-winning novel by Sharon Creech about family, identity, and coming-of-age.

You can catch this performance in Pittsburgh at the Byham Theater. I’m really interested to see how they’re going to be presenting the car situation plus what I’m assuming will be flashbacks as Sal tells her stories.

It will be showing at three different times:

  • Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10:15a
  • Friday, November 8, 2019 at 7:00p
  • Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00a

There will be an interpreter for the Deaf at the November 9 performance. You can get your tickets here for any of the show times on the weekend of the 8th & 9th.

Ticket Giveaway!

Of course, we’re giving away tickets, too! Use the widget below to enter the giveaway for four (4) free tickets to the Walk Two Moon showing of your choice! The giveaway is open from now until 11:59p on November 3rd. Remember that there are multiple ways to earn entries everyday, so be sure to come back to keep your odds up!

Best of luck to all!

Hi! I haven’t read the book, but I think my 9 year old would really enjoy this! Maybe we will read the book first! 🙂

I honestly feel kind of terrible admitting this, but I have never read this book before! I can remember my friends in the other fifth grade class reading it and raving about it. It’s never too late, so it has been added to my to be read list!
