Score Black Friday Deals to Gymboree, Crazy 8, Ancestry.com, and Get Paid to Write for Blogs.Black Friday and Cyber Monday have melded together over the past few years to create one giant week of shopping extravagance. There’s a difference, though, between finding “deals” and finding great deals that will save you money on quality products.

It’s only the 21st, a full week before Cyber Monday, but a lot of businesses have already started slashing prices. I’ve gathered up some of my favorite deals here; this post will be updated throughout the week as more quality Black Friday deals become available!

ABCmouse.com

ABCmouse.com
This is my kids’ favorite computer game, and the one I’m most excited to see them play. If you have a toddler through first grader, this is perfect because of its high level of personalization and the fact that its built to organically grow with your child’s educational progression.

Now through 11/28, you can get an entire year of the program for $45—that’s 50% off! As I’ve watched it over the years, the 50% off deal is the lowest I’ve ever seen. Hop on it.

Magoosh

Have an older kid? You probably have different education needs, then. Magoosh is an online test prep course provider that does everything through SATs to GREs. So if you’ve got a teen or young adult in high school or college, their Black Friday/Cyber Monday “weekend” sale is something you’re going to want to check out.

Now through 11/28 you can get 20% off all test prep plans by using code THANKS.

I will note that if your kid has an extra year before they HAVE to take the test, there is usually an even bigger sale in the summer. If you can’t wait that long, though, 20% off is pretty rad.

Personalized M&M’s

My favorite wedding favor ever has been personalized M&M’s. You can print these with your face on them, the date of your wedding or any other seasonal image. You can even pick the colors to match your existing theme!

Normally, they’re not super cheap. But now through 11/27, you can get 30% off your order by using code BLFRIDAY.

Mikasa

While we’re on the wedding theme, Mikasa, who sells high-end dishes, has a major sale going on right now, too. They make great wedding gifts and are also great for those holiday dinners.

By using code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout, you qualify for all of these different perks:

  • 25% off all orders
  • Free shipping on orders $50+
  • Free $15 gift card if you spend $150+

The Mikasa Black Friday sale runs through 11/27.

Carhartt

Baby, it’s cold outside. And I’m kind of hating it.

One good thing my husband has taught me is that investing in quality winter gear is worth the upfront costs. He got a Carhartt coat for his birthday four years ago, and that thing is still going strong.

This week you can save on these durable products in a number of ways:

These sales run through 11/28.

ModCloth

I love ModCloth for oh, so many reasons. First, they have fun and unique fashion, and not just for people who are a size 0. (Because that’s still a real thing, apparently.) They’re also based in Pittsburgh, which is another reason to swoon.

And to top it all off, they go beyond clothing and into the realm of unique and fun gifts you’ll have a hard time finding anywhere else.

This Black Friday, they have a graduated sale going on now through 9am Eastern on 11/27:

Gymboree

Gymboree Sale On Now!

Usually Gymboree is too rich for my blood. Yes, they have adorable clothing, but their prices are also too much for my raucous children. But when they have a sale going on, the story changes.

You’re about to see why. Here are the deals that are going through 11/29:

Crazy 8

Crazy 8 Sale On Now!
Crazy 8 is the less expensive younger cousin of Gymboree. One of our kiddos gets mostly hand-me-downs as clothing, but we have another of the other gender that doesn’t get as many. For them we primarily go to resale stores, but when Crazy 8 has sales, we’re often able to score new clothes at similar deals.

Here’s what they have going on through 11/28:

Sur la Table

Sur La Table Up To 75% Off Clearance Sale
I fell in love with Sur la Table after discovering their $1 cookie cutters. But they have so much cool stuff that makes cooking or baking literally anything 1,000 times easier. So I’ve frequently come back for gifts.

Right now they have insane discounts going on for the holiday weekend, with up to 75% off.

Petco

In the past year, we became the proud owners of the world’s best therapy cat, and shopping for her for Christmas is an experience my kids are looking forward to.

As a self-proclaimed frugalite, I have to tell you I’m not sure I’d spend money on all of the things Petco has on sale this weekend. But I don’t want to deny you any information, so I’m including all the sales so you can judge for yourself. All except the last one end 11/26.

Other Deals to Check Out This Weekend

Outer Beaches Realty

If you want to save money on your 2017 vacation, you’re not going to want to miss this post, which will have the potential to save you nearly $1,500. It goes live Wednesday, so make a note!

UPDATE: It’s live here!

AncestryDNA

I can’t give you an exact date on this one right now, but I can tell you that the sale is going to be HUGE and I’ll have info to you before the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In past years, it’s been the most popular sale for Femme Frugality readers. Be sure to check back throughout the week so you don’t miss it!

UPDATE: It’s live and it’s wonderful!
